My reading

Immediately after the virus strike on Tallarn, loyalists try to find the last living astropath on the planet. Whether the Imperium learns of the Iron Warriors' attack, and whether help reaches defenders sealed into their armoured vehicles, depends on the message they send. The story unfolds inside the early events of 'Executioner' and accounts for the signal after which the war ceases to be an isolated one.
