How chronology works
Event chronology and reading order are different. The map shows time and context; Webway helps you choose what to read next.
One work, several episodes
A work may include flashbacks, a later epilogue and parallel storylines. Each open line shows one card per work; its episodes and dates remain in “Dates, story episodes and sources”. The work may also appear in another line or era while sharing one reading status.
What a position means
We distinguish exact dates, ranges and relative ordering. Where no calendar date is established, a coordinate is only for navigation. A convenient screen position is not a confirmed year, and publication dates are not in-universe dates.
Evidence and uncertainty
Cards expose references, dating evidence, narrative layers and research notes. A source must support the particular claim; a shop listing alone does not establish when a story takes place. “Well supported”, “Some uncertainty” and “Needs verification” describe the evidence, not numerical probabilities. A research-review marker does not certify every detail as correct. Some detailed research notes remain in Russian.
Conflicts and connections
Conflicting sources and alternative versions are retained with qualifications. Sharing a character or world creates a connection, not a mandatory prerequisite. An ordering of individual episodes does not necessarily order two complete books. Spoiler details are disclosed separately.

Open the relevant work, event or connection and submit feedback. When possible, include the edition, chapter or page, a source link and the exact claim to change. We do not claim that every material already has an exact date or complete supporting evidence.
