Fortune's Fool

Ahriman

The five novels form the main route: Exile → Sorcerer → Unchanged → Eternal → Undying. Early short fiction expands the original trilogy in John French’s recommended order; the later additions have separate qualifications. Daemonologie accompanies Eternal, while The Players of Fate follows the exiles after the failed Second Rubric. The story’s position relative to Undying remains open. The shared line includes the series works without making each one compulsory prior reading or turning reading order into a calendar. Hand of Darkness is a separate appearance by Ahriman during the siege of the Black Library, not the next novel in his series. Its relative order with those novels is unestablished.
