Tallarn: Executioner

My reading

Perturabo's fleet brings virus weapons down on green Tallarn without warning and turns it into a poisoned desert within hours. The survivors must seal themselves into armoured vehicles, and the 701st Jurnian regiment lives through the opening months of what will become the greatest armoured battle of the age. The novella opens the ground campaign and shows its scale from below, not merely as the primarch's design.
