My reading

Two years after that first hunt, Bane returns to the ranks with augmetics and joins a demolition operation. When a collapse seals him in a shaft and his comrades give him up for dead, a literal search for a way out continues the argument with his own faith, and with the limits of his endurance, that began in 'Skullchewa'.
