Lysander returns to Malodrax with the Imperial Fists to confront his former Iron Warriors captors. The accepted campaign anchor is 966.M41. The novel interweaves the return with captivity and escape scenes; this anchor does not date every scene. The later Fall of Malodrax in 971.M41 remains a separate event.
