Spheris: Balthiel’s mission — books on the story line

Flesh Tearers Librarian Balthiel arrives on Spheris aboard the merchant ship Wayward Lance and infiltrates a traitor coven for weeks. His strike against Morchan, Kadi Aren and their conspirators almost ends in possession, after which he enters a sus-anabiotic coma. His rescue is not depicted; the calendar year is unknown. Seth’s trial belongs to the collection’s frame, not this standalone mission.
