The search for Magnus’s shards — books on the story line

Thief of Revelations follows Ahriman and Magnus after Prospero’s destruction and leads into The Crimson King. In the novel, Ahriman searches for the primarch’s soul-shards while Lemuel, Promus and Nagasena become involved in the struggle over them. These are related episodes, not one battle; the visit to Kadmus’s past does not date the entire story. Morningstar follows this strand, while Arvida’s story proceeds separately.
