The founding of the Adeptus Mechanicus — books on the story line
The founding of the Adeptus Mechanicus
A political dispute on Terra after the Martian Schism: ambassador Vethorel seeks recognition of the loyal priesthood of the Machine under Zagreus Kane as the Adeptus Mechanicus. The Binary Succession depicts this decision by the Council of Terra, not a new operation on Mars. The Mars connection is the aftermath of the schism and institutional history; the year is approximate, with no exact day established.
