Light of a Crystal Sun between the first two novels — books on the story line

Fabius Bile links his consciousness to crystal-seer fragments stolen from Lugganath, seeking knowledge against his bodily disease. The spirits within the infinity circuit threaten his mind. The story is set between Primogenitor and Clonelord; it is a separate experiment, not another expedition to Lugganath. Its exact year and order relative to other optional stories are unknown. Fabius’s strand is primary; the additional entry through The Emperor’s Children and Fulgrim concerns the character, not proven III Legion unit participation.
