Belisarius Cawl — books on the story line

Belisarius Cawl’s line connects the early post-Heresy Primaris project with his later stories after the Great Rift. In Reforging, In the Grim Darkness shows Felix’s origins and Cawl’s work; the exact year is unknown. It is additional backstory, not a required immediate prequel to the later novels. The Great Work, Genefather and the subsequent stories remain after the Rift. Cawl’s long life and his memories do not turn those novels into M31–M32 events.
