Last Chancers / 13th Penal Legion — books on the story line

Kage, Colonel Schaeffer and the 13th Penal Legion: Deliverance → 13th Legion → Liberty → Kill Team → Annihilation Squad → Armageddon Saint. The final two novels depict different Armageddon episodes: the von Strab mission during the Third War and the later Khorne incursion before the Great Rift. A separate epilogue of Armageddon Saint shifts roughly half a century forward, after the Rift. This is not one continuous campaign. Last Chance is an early literary prototype of the Coritanorum episode, a supplementary alternative version alongside the first novel, not a separate essential step. The early arc's exact years are unestablished.
