The Thousand Sons and Magnus
The XV Legion: Nikaea, Prospero, Magnus’s shards and the war for Terra. After the Heresy, this line includes Khayon in The Talon of Horus and Black Legion, the optional Wonderworker between them, and a later First Black Crusade episode. The Ancient Awaits adds Vistario’s strand; All is Dust depicts the Rubric’s aftermath before Ahriman: Exile in the author’s reading order; Battle of the Fang depicts Magnus’s M32 attack. These are separate stories and periods, not one required reading chain. Their primary routes remain with the Black Legion, Ahriman, the Emperor’s Children and the Space Wolves.
