Dark Imperium and the Plague Wars — books on the story line

Dark Imperium and the Plague Wars

Main trilogy: Dark Imperium → Plague War → Godblight. In the Grim Darkness is an optional origin story about young Felix after the Heresy; its exact year is unknown. Read it before the first novel or after meeting Felix. His Will and The Armour of Fate are companion prequels following Guilliman’s return, not trilogy volumes. The Terran Crusade, Raukos, Parmenio and Iax belong to the line’s much later section, not the Age of Reforging.
